Colorado BioScience Association Names Derek Cole Board Chair and Appoints Six Industry Leaders to its Board of Directors at the 2013 Annual All-Member Meeting 

Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) is hosting its fifth annual "BioScience Day at the Capitol" on January 30.  The event will feature Mark Leahey, President and CEO, Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) presenting the 'State of the Medical Device Industry' and efforts MDMA is leading in Washington to repeal the Medical Device Tax.  

Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) is officially launching the Colorado BioScience Institute (The Institute) today. The CBSA leadership team has set a kick-off goal of $100,000 for The Institute this year. The initial $20,000 raised, including a generous matching gift from PhRMA of up to $5,000, will support the Colorado launch of one of its flagship programs, the BioGENEius Challenge.

Colorado BioScience Association Announces Finalists for 'Rising Star of the Year' Company at its Annual Awards Celebration in December 

VetDC (Fort Collins, CO) has won the Venture Showcase competition at the 2012 BioWest Conference & Expo, which is organized by the Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA). Five finalists competed for the $7,500 cash prize, presenting their technologies and business plans in front of a live audience to a judging panel of bioscience experts and venture capitalists. 

More than 40 exhibitors will be showcasing new technologies, products and services for 500+ attendees at the 2012 BioWest Conference & Expo, September 11, at the Marriott City Center, Denver. National Speakers Ginger Graham and Mike Huckman will provide the keynotes for the 9th BioWest organized by the Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA).
