Mr. Castleberry has over 25 years of leading product development and manufacturing organizations to commercialize complex medical devices: durable equipment, sterile disposables, and implantable products. He has broad medical market segment exposure and has served in large multi-national and emerging stage companies including CardioOptics, Plexus, Battelle Memorial Institute, Larren, Davis+Geck, Vitalmetrics, CR Bard and AHSC. Mr. Castleberry has been active in the Colorado medical device community since 1992 expanding local jobs by helping to build four organizations in the Boulder-Denver area. He is currently pursuing funding for EndoShape, a CU spinout focused on shape memory polymer medical devices. Mr. Castleberry has served on the 2008 CBSA BioScience Roadmap Committee and currently serves on CBSA’s Programs Committee. Previously, he has been a guest CU Bioengineering Instructor and an industry advisor to the CSU Department of Computer Engineering.
